Yes, I knit.

Tonni left comment wondering if I knit anymore. And, my daughter left a comment saying she thought this was supposed to be a knitting blog not a Coal blog. So, here is proof of actual knitting. I've been having a bit of a problem actually finishing a project. I ran out of circular needles for socks because I've got so many pairs in various stages of doneness -- many more than you see in the pictures. Solution? I bought more needles.

Why . . .

is it so important to get dirty after a proper bath? The first thing Coal did after I brought him home from the groomer was lay down in the dirt and roll around.

The Daily Dog

My baby is having his hair done today. This was taken on a potty break right before I took him to the groomer. So, handsome.

Paradise Found

In the spirit of regular posting, I thought I'd share a few highlights of my cruise. Can you believe there is something as wonderful as key lime pie on a stick? And, it's covered in chocolate? This was definitely one of the high points of our stop in Key West. I lived in Key West as a child but I don't remember anything as delightful as this. And, if you were wondering --- yes, it's every bit as delicious as you might imagine it would be. Of course, if you don't like key lime pie you won't like it on a stick but if you do you'll be in heaven.

Bigger

It's hard to believe our baby boy has grown so fast. I still suspect he's not exactly miniature. But, he sure is handsome. Don't you agree? When we brought him home we could hold him with one hand. Now it takes two arms. He is having his hair done tomorrow. He'll be back to looking like a proper Schnauzer. We haven't had him four months yet and I've had his hair done three times. It's costing more to keep him looking good than the rest of the family. He's so worth it!!!
