Coal's a Mommy

Coal is constantly aggravated by our new kitty, Progo. Progo is such an unfortunate name. My daughter named the poor kitty. Progo nurses on Coal which perplexes and upsets Coal to no end. I have had to put Progo in another room so Coal can get some rest.

And, yes, I have been knitting. There's so much to show but I'm a lazy blogger and have failed to take pictures. I started these Uptown Boot Socks from Interweave's Favorite Socks yesterday.

A Night Full of Tornado Warnings

This is what my backyard looked like this morning. Logan and I had an anxious night. The storm sirens were sounding, the thunder was rumbling, the wind was blowing and there was a little lightening thrown in for fun. In the past, I didn't concern myself with "the weather," but I've really taken it seriously since the tornado in March, 2007. We were a little scared last night. This is going to cost major dollars to repair but the good news is there is no damage to the house and we are all fine.

And, Coal is recovering nicely from his "operation." He doesn't like to take about it but you'd never know he was neutered on Friday because, by Saturday, he was back to his old self.

I couldn't help myself . . .

You Were a Wolf

You have an instinctual intelligence that guides your life.

Your family and "pack" is of primary importance, and you protect them.

And, for your viewing pleasure . . .

This is a photo of the Colosseum in Rome taken during our trip to Italy in November of last year.
